Sitters – What they should know

Sitters are with you to make sure that you are safely using the salvia that you have. There are many things that could occur which could lead to further damage if you don’t have anyone around to help you. These sitters will need to know what they are doing and if a situation comes up they need to know what to do.
What to Do

The sitter will have to know what to do. This means that they understand that however odd that the person they are watching is acting that they understand that these symptoms/effects don’t last very long. You don’t want to call 911 or rush your friend to the emergency room unless there is a serious problem. If he is acting funny at first, you have to wait a little while to see if it’s just the drug or not. In most cases, salvia will not lead to any serious problems. You will not need to get any outside help in most cases. Usually when you are sitting for a friend, it just means that you soberly stay there with him while he goes through the buzz and be patient about it. Usually it is under an hour that the drug effects start to go away. It’s important that the sitter does not panic when the person is high though because it could lead to even more serious problems. You have to make sure that you also don’t touch the person while they are on the drug unless you notified him prior to using it that you would be and warn him before you do as well.

The sitter should be someone who has a good education on drug usage and knows the difference between this drug and other vision inducing drugs. The high that someone gets with salvia is also a lot different than the high from entheogens even though some characteristics are similar
